Hello! My name is Chris Alexander. I am a HUGE nerd and avid gamer and have been since I could crawl. I’ve been playing Magic the Gathering for over sixteen years on a semi-professional level. In addition, I’ve played a hand full of other card games as well: Rage!, Battletech, Wheel of Time, Pokemon, Star Wars (Decipher), Epic, and more. I’ve also just recently begun playing board games more. Finally, while I’m not amazing at it, I love video games, especially role-playing games and first-person shooter games.

I have also been working within the same industry that I love so much for over twelve years, starting small as a sales clerk and event judge, selling Magic the Gathering products and organizing & judging small tournaments. Next, I moved up to more extensive buying, selling and wholesaling of Magic the Gathering (and related) products and single cards for a start-up company called Over the Edge Games. This company specialized in the wholesaling of single Magic cards – the first of it’s kind! Since then, I worked on a start up online store for TJ Collectibles, Inc. in Milford, MA specializing in Magic the Gathering and grew that business up from zero to what it is today.

Now, as an e-commerce professional, I work for Troll and Toad in the Quality Assurance Department as Manager. To learn more about my professional career, please visit my LinkedIn profile.

In my spare time, I do a lot of reading and gaming. When I can, I travel to as many events and conventions as possible; I love to travel!

If you couldn’t guess, this is one of my favorite cards (and deck/archetype) of all time:

I love this card!

Oh, how I miss playing with you, dear Bitterblossom, as well as all your awesome friends: Scion of Oona, Mistbind Clique, Spellstutter Sprite, Vendilion Clique, Mutavault and more.

I began this blog as my way of giving back to a community that has given me so much. In addition, because I have moved away from Massachusetts, I figure this as a fantastic way to keep in touch with friends and family (miss you guys!).
